Garden break at the B&B

We'll stop for some refreshments and snacks upon returning and enjoy a bit of relaxation for sore feet before continuing our tour.  On summer evenings we often have barbecues and improvised parties where the whole neighborhood turns up.  The garden is a great place to practice your Italian with our neighbors and make friends. 

We will sample locally made wine from the nearby village of Costozza where the hills provide the best terrain for grape growing.  Other typical Vicentino snacks are tramezzini (white bread sliced in triangles and filled with tunafish or some other spread), and panini (little sandwiches) usually with prosciutto crudo or salami.  Italians take pride in their snacks as they do with their food and there are plenty of things to try.  Just watch out for that wine!
