Classical music lovers will enjoy the Amicimusica event which is held each year from September to June. A series of classical concerts is performed in theaters and concert halls around Vicenza, like Teatro Astra, Cannetti and Teatro Olimpico.

Internationally acclaimed performers such as Gustav Leonhardt, Trevor Pinnock, Grigory Sokolov, Salvatore Accardo and Rocco Filippini hold concerts throughout the season. The conclusion of the festival comes in June with Hungarian pianist Andras Schiff and friends returning year after year to serenade Vicenza and classical music lovers from all over Italy. Just like the series of concerts held in villas in Vicenza, Amicimusica combines world class performers in magnificent theaters like Teatro Olimpico which are so characteristic of this quaint Palladian town.
