Asiago Italy

Nestled in the mountains 50 minutes north of Vicenza is the quaint resort town of Asiago Italy.  Known for its many tasty cheeses, Asiago will charm you with its lush valleys and rolling hills.  In winter Asiago is a ski resort town catering to families who have 2nd homes or apartments where they come to spend their Christmas holidays.  There are more than 500 kilometers of cross country skiing on the Altopiano of the 'Asiago 7 Comuni'. In summer the resort town is overrun by tourists who come to get away from the summer heat.

Asiago can easily be reached by bus or car from Vicenza, and makes for a nice day trip along with stops in Schio and Thiene.  There are a number of interesting itineraries up thru the hills to Asiago, so check with us at the Bed & Breakfast for suggestions.
